The company was founded in 1955 in Santiago, Chile, performing activities in representation of Polysar in Chile. It settled as a reliable raw material supplier for the rubber industry, with the support and exclusive representation of first line companies.
With the passage of time, the offer was diversified to clients of different industrial areas as construction, insulation, plastic, adhesives, paints, pharmaceutical, food, road works, paper and cellulose industry, ceramics, and mining among others, making the most of our represented companies wide array of products. Nowadays, the above mentioned industrial areas give us their preference not only for the quality and prices of our products, but also for the customer service they obtain from the company.
Since its foundation, Amster S.A. has been in the pursuit of excellence in customer service, continuosly looking for high quality raw materials and products that allows a higher profitability in terms of product manufacture; the usage of energy resources, besides a good acceptance of the final product. To reach this goal, the company counts with the support of the represented companies which guide us and give their accurate technical support for their products which allows us to correct any deviation in the results produced with the products, and give our clients an even bigger level of assurance. In 2006 the company implemented its Quality Management System and obtained the certificate ISO 9001/2000, proveing by this, the commitment that Amster S.A has established with his customers and represented companies.
In December 2008, and as a result of the vigorous growth of the last years, Amster S.A decided to expand its facilities and move to Quilicura, where nowadays the trade offices and one of its two warehouses are located. To accomplish this, the company holds a vehicle and truck fleet to deliver the products and serve the customers, fleets that permit the sellers to move independently and to carry out an opportune merchandise delivey service.
The company is now implementing a continuous growing plan, noticeable in the increase of the sales over the last years and the growing market participation, due to the quality of the products, effectiveness on the use of the resourses,products and innovative solutions.
